I've been an amateur radio operator for 20 plus years. I was originally licensed as KB2HVY (novice) and worked my way up to Extra class. my wife Susan is KB2IPJ, we have two daughters ages 13 and 16 (hopefully they will get into amateur radio).

I'm interested in working HF DX, digital modes, SSB, hamfesting with my friend N2JMD, working on and repairing radios, repeaters, and designing and building antennas (I have a metal lathe and milling machine to build parts).

I'am also an ARRL acredited VE.

My shack is continually evolving (new and different equipment.) that I aquire at hamfests, fleamarkets, ebay and build. always looking for that bargain.

I enjoy service bench work the most, have been doing it since i was a teenager, continued into the marine corp and beyond.
